Since you’d be hard pressed to go outside and not see fireworks during 4th of July weekend, you might as well get up close and personal and enjoy one of the staples of summer. Jacksonville 4th of July Freedom Festival

Where: Onslow CO. Pines Park Administrative Office

When: July 4, 2014

Hosted by the Onslow county Parks & Recreation Department, you can witness a great fireworks show complete with music, rides and other activities. This family friendly event is expected to have around 23,000 attendees, so arrive early find a prime location to enjoy the show.

Fireworks over White Oak River

Where: Swansboro NC

When: JJuly 4, 2014

Fireworks are fun. Fireworks over a water are five times more fun. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you attend fireworks over White Oak River. There are food vendors on site, so you can grab a hot dog and a bag of popcorn and have the ultimate American evening as you watch a spectacular fireworks show over the river.

Wilmington 4th of July Fireworks

Where: Along Water Street

When: July 4, 5-9 p.m.

While the fireworks won’t start until a little after 9 p.m. you can arrive early, claim your spot, and enjoy food and entertainment as early as 5 p.m. Be warned, certain parking areas will be closed off, so you can expect some short delays arriving and leaving the event.
