The Firework show for Jacksonville NC on the 4th of July will once again be held at the end of the annual Freedom Festival. The event is titled the Patriotic Fireworks Display and is set to begin at 9pm at the Onslow Pines Park. The Freedom Festival has rules against bringing personal fireworks, pets, and alcohol. They do recommend bringing your own lawn chair or blanket for when the show begins, though.

One of the main attractions is the various music shows that are happening throughout the day. Aside from that, some of the other special activities that you can do at the Onslow County Freedom Festival include food, crafts, amusement rides, a petting zoo, the car show, and of course many activities to keep children occupied throughout the day. Gates for the Freedom Festival open at 3pm. Parking at the event is free, and there is also a shuttle service at New River Harley Davidson. In addition to the scheduled activities for the Onslow County Freedom Festival, the park will also have its regular facilities open to enjoy, which includes shuffleboard, basketball, tennis, and walking trails.
