2016 Easter Egg Hunts
When: March 18 @ 5:30 and March 19 from 10am to 5:30pm
Where: Onslow County
The Onslow County Parks and Recreation department is holding several Easter Egg Hunts this year to help accommodate those with a busy schedule. The first will be held on Friday, March 18 at Richlands Steed Park at 5:30pm. Can’t make it? Not to worry because there are three other hunts going on throughout the day on Saturday. Stump Sound Park will have its egg hunt at 10am, Deppe Park has its at 2pm, and Hubert By-Pass Park finishes the day at 5:30. Ages are 12 and under, with four hunting grounds per park to break it up into age appropriate groups. You’ll need to bring your own basket and camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!
When: March 18 @ 7pm
Where: Northeast Creek Park
Have a little extra fun this year with an Easter Egg hunt that breaks the norm! Children ages 8 to 12 can join in for a special egg hunt in the dark. Registration for the hunt starts at 7pm, and the hunt will begin at 8pm. Flashlights aren’t provided so you’ll have to bring your own. Make sure you’re working with a fresh set of batteries!
2016 Spring Fest and Easter Egg Hunts
When: March 26 from 10am to 4pm
Where: Onslow Pines Park
Bring the whole family down for the Onslow County SPring Fest and Easter Egg Hunts! The Egg Hunt will start at noon, and will be broken up into 3 and under, four to six, seven to nine, and 10-12 for age groups. You can also enjoy pictures with the Easter Bunny, multiple food vendors, train rides, face painting, bounce houses, and much more!
