The Swansboro and Jacksonville area always has something fun going on, and November this year will be no exception. The annual 2016 Swansboro by Candlelight event is coming up, and it’s one of our all-time favorites! Do you need to find the perfect gift for a friend, family member, or significant other? Thankfully, Swansboro by Candlelight is the perfect opportunity to look for that special gift!

When is the 2016 Swansboro by Candlelight event?

This year’s Swansboro by Candlelight will be held on November 12 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. This is the perfect time to set out and find some great gifts for family and friends. Historic Downtown Swansboro will be specially decorated with lights to put everyone in the holiday spirit. Merchants and shops will be open late during the Candlelight event, and shoppers will even be able to enjoy complimentary goodies like hot apple cider and cookies. Live entertainment will also be going on downtown, but one of the big draws is the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

5-5:45 p.m. — Nutcracker Ballet scenes performed by the Swansboro Dance Studio
6:00 p.m. — Official Lighting of the Town Christmas Tree
6:15-8:30 p.m. — Live music by Scearce and Ketner, Wild Honey
