Many of the vehicles that are on the market can be described by buzzwords like cool, hip, fresh, or aggressive, all of which are used to try and reach out to the younger demographics. However, with the debut of the 2019 Ford Transit Connect wagon at the Chicago Auto Show, Ford is trying to do the opposite. Instead of trying to get the attention of Millennials and the like, the 2019 Ford Transit Connect is being marketed to the Baby Boomers.

Whether going on trips with the whole family or starting a post-retirement small business, the 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon can switch between being a passenger’s paradise or a cargo hold. It is easy to slide into the driver’s seat, and the sliding doors on both sides make loading up cargo a breeze. These images from the 2018 Chicago Auto Show exhibit the spacious interior that makes the 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon such an advantageous choice for drivers, no matter what they’re looking for from their vehicle.

Just because the 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon is a van intended for older drivers, that doesn’t mean that it skimps on the technology features. Drivers will be able to connect with the Ford+Alexa personal assistant to utilize Amazon Alexa when they are in their vehicle. Also included is Ford SYNC® 3, which features Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, along with a 6.5-inch screen and 4G LTE connectivity. Those who are looking for safety features won’t be disappointed with standard Automatic Emergency Braking and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection. There are also several available features, like Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Keeping System.  

With all of these updates the Ford Transit, drivers can expect to find a vehicle that fulfills all of their requirements and then some.
