5ks near Jacksonville NC 2015

We love the spring and summer because it seems like everything just comes to life: people, animals, plants. There are more people out and about and everyone seems to be in a better mood. Another thing that comes with warmer weather is more outdoor activity! Whether it’s competitive or just for fun, there are more and more Jacksonville area residents out and about running around, which brings us to one of our favorite outdoor spring or summer activities: charity run/walks!

These have gotten to be super popular over the last few years, so you will likely be pleased to hear that there are a number of 5ks near Jacksonville NC 2015! The great thing about 5ks is that you are able to be outside and active, can spend some time with friends and/or family, get to push yourself and you also get to, most of the time, raise some money for a great cause!

No matter whether or not you end up participating in any of the 5ks near Jacksonville NC 2015, we encourage you to at least think about volunteering at a local charity race! This way you don’t have to actually run or walk, but are still doing something to help the community!
