Date: October 20 to 22, 2016
Where: Riverwalk Crossing Park in Jacksonville NC

This year marks the 9th annual occurrence of the Onslow County Oktoberfest, and we’re sure it will even be the best one yet! The fun starts on Thursday, October 20 with a wine and beer tasting. The fun will continue on Friday, October 21 with the Onslow Oktoberfest Stein and Shine 5K Color Glow run at 6 p.m. The race will take you through Downtown Jacksonville, starting and ending at Riverwalk Park. Registration for the race ends on October 19. Plus, after the race you’ll be able to enjoy music, bratwurst, beer, and more things German!

You’ll be able to enjoy the Oktoberfest celebrations in full on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Riverwalk Crossing Park. There will be live entertainment, a kid’s area, the Miss Onslow Oktoberfest Pageant, tons of German food, and more!

Date: October 15, 2016 @ 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Eddie’s Polish Home in Jacksonville NC

Is one day of German indulgence not enough for you? We feel the same way! The Jacksonville NC Oktoberfest is a one-day event at Eddie’s Polish Home, which can be found at 2050 Steeplechase Court. You’ll get to enjoy a meal of homemade German food, which includes Bratwurst, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, German potato salad, and more! Dessert will also be served and you can even enjoy some live polka music.
