Changing the clock in a Ford Vehicle
Daylight Savings Time was has ended so it’s time to finish changing all your clocks. Luckily cell phones have gotten smart enough to change themselves, but car clocks can go weeks without getting changed. Some people even leave it until the next Daylight Savings Time and they just have to remind themselves it’s actually an hour ahead. This can have detrimental effects. You might start driving reckless because you think you’re an hour late for a meeting or you might turn around and go back home because you think you’re an hour early. Don’t let these things happen to you! Follow these simple instructions for changing the clock in a Ford vehicle.
Most new Ford vehicles come with the MyFord Touch system. This means that most 2015 Ford vehicles use the same method to change the clock settings. To adjust the time in this feature, first you have to touch the settings button. This will then show you a Clock option. Touch this choice. From there you will be able to adjust the hour, minutes and choose from AM or PM. You can also choose from a 12 hour or a 24 hour clock format. If your Ford vehicle is equipped with Navigation, you can also turn on an automatic clock changing setting that will set the clock according to where you are geographically located.
Some vehicles have different setting options or do not have the SYNC with MyFord system. For example, the 2015 Ford Escape has the option of a more simple interface. To change the clock in this instance, you will want to press the small clock button which can be found on the left side of the audio system just beneath the CD slot. Once you press that button, you can use the cursor arrows to set the hours and the minutes then press OK to set the time. This is a simple way to change the time in a Ford vehicle.
