With the base trim level of the 2018 Ford Edge, you’ll have access to plenty of exciting features like auto start-stop technology. This feature is included on all vehicles with the 2.0L EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine, and it is able to help reduce fuel usage while the Ford Edge is stopped and idle. The auto start-stop feature switches off the engine and then automatically restarts when you apply the accelerator or take your foot off of the brake.

2018 Ford Edge SEL

Like the SE, the 2018 Ford Edge SEL is equipped with auto start-stop and the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. The 2018 Ford Edge SEL also has the Ford SYNC system standard, allowing drivers to place and take calls, stream music, and respond to text messages without removing your hands from the steering wheel. Ford SYNC is also able to understand voice commands. In addition to SYNC, the 2018 Ford Edge SEL is equipped with satellite radio.

Along with SYNC 3, the Ford Edge Titanium has standard ambient lighting.

2018 Ford Edge Sport

If you want to have the version of the 2018 Ford Edge that has the most power and standard features, the 2018 Ford Edge Sport has everything that you desire. The standard engine on the Sport trim level is a 2.7L V6 EcoBoost that churns out 315 horsepower. Features that were available on the other trims, like the foot-activated liftgate, are standard on the 2018 Ford Edge Sport, along with unique designs like the Piano Black grille.
