National Night Out is an annual event and festival to come together as a community and take a stand against crime. When is the 2016 National Night Out in Jacksonville NC?

This year’s National Night Out event will take place on August 2, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm — and it will be happening rain or shine! The entire event is open to the public, and things like admission, parking and shuttle services will all be provided for free. Now that’s a real deal! Come by and see what the event all has to offer!

So what can you all do at the National Night Out event? It’s not all just education, as there will be some live music, a bicycle giveaway, interesting vehicles from law enforcement, the fire department and the military on display, police demonstrations, food vendors, and there will even be a firework display at the end of the night!

Running with the Law 5K in Jacksonville NC

This fun run is considered a sister event to the National Night Out event, though it actually occurs before it. The Running with the Law race starts at 7:30am on July 30, 2016. You can register the same day as the race for $30, or you can save some money by registering by July 28, 2016 for just $20. Every participant will receive both a race t-shirt and finisher medal. Proceeds from the run will go to the NC Special Olympics. You can find more info on the race, including how to register, here.
