Handmade Holiday Gifts in Swansboro NC

The Parks and Recreation department is hosting a gift workshop where you can create your own edible gifts for your candy-craving friends and family. 2015 Festival of Trees in Jacksonville NC
When: Nov. 21-23, 2015
Where: The American Legion
Over 60 Christmas trees will be decorated this year at the Festival of Trees in Jacksonville NC, but there’s much more to do than just checkout the sights. There will also be live entertainment, a country store, a shop filled with sweets that you can buy, a gift shop, and even a yard sale in the back. The event will benefit the Onslow Caregivers to assist with home health and hospice care.
2015 Swansboro Christmas Flotilla
When: Nov. 27, 2015
Where: Historic Swansboro Waterfront
The annual Swansboro Christmas Flotilla is a must attend event! The lighted boat parade beautifully illuminates the shores of Swansboro’s historical downtown. Plus, you get to see Santa arrive by boat! Even if it’s chilly, you can warm up with delicious hot chocolate! In the event of bad weather, the show will be pushed back to the 28 of November.
2015 Jacksonville NC Holiday Pops Concert
When: November 24, 2015
Where: Jacksonville High School
If you’re a fan of Holiday music and can’t get enough of it, then we suggest heading over to the Holiday Pops Concert at Jacksonville High School. It’s a fun show for the entire family, and there’s even an indoor snowfall! The concert will feature favorites from movies like The Polar Exprpess and Frozen, along with the traditional holiday tunes. Adult tickets are $25, child and student prices are $7, senior (60+) tickets are $22, and military prices are $22.
