The annual Mullet Festival will soon be once again be drawing thousands from all around to the town of Swansboro. This October will be the 62nd annual occurrence of the Mullet Festival, and we’re very glad that it has lasted this long, and can’t wait to enjoy it for the years to come! The 62nd annual, 2016 Mullet Festival in Swansboro will run from Oct. 8-9 this year, and it looks to be quite a bit of fun. There will be all-day entertainment on each day the Festival is open in Swansboro, and no matter what you’re looking for you can find it! One of the big draws of Mullet Fest is the opportunity to enjoy some delicious Mullet (fish) any way you want it! Grilled, broiled, smoked, stewed, fried and other forms of preparations are all available to you! Of course, the event has also grown to be much more than just an excuse for some delicious fish.

So what else can you all do at the 2016 Mullet Festival in Swansboro? The Mullet Festival Parade will be proceeding down Highway 24 to downtown Swansboro on Saturday at 9 a.m. The festival also offers live entertainment throughout both days that it is open.
