Picking a brand and model for a truck to test drive or purchase is often just the beginning of your decision, since another important one will soon follow. Which trim are you going to get? Usually this questions is usually answered by the amount you’re looking to spend, but with the 2016 F-150 the trims are distinct in many ways, and several can hit the same price range. Continue with the rest of our post to see what trims are available on the 2016 Ford F-150.
2016 Ford F-150 Trim Choices
If you’re looking for a base level trim up to a mid-level trim then your choices are going to be the F-150 XL, XLT, and Lariat. With the XL and XLT you’ll be able to choose out of any of the available cab styles, box styles, and even take your pick of engines — out of the four choices. The Lariat is a good mid-end trim that is available as a SuperCab or SuperCrew, but has all of the three box choices available. You’ll have three engine choices with it: the two EcoBoosts and the 5.0L V8.
If you’re looking at the mid to high-end Trim choices in the 2016 Ford F-150 then you have a very difficult decision ahead of you! You can go with either the 2016 F-150 King Ranch, Platinum or Limited. The King Ranch is a very distinct trim, and even comes with custom leather seats featuring the trim’s insignia on them. The Platinum and Limited are for those looking for the extra comforts in the interior of a truck, and you can expect to find plenty of tech in both. All three high-end trims are only available as a SuperCrew, and your box choices are more limited than with the lower trims.
